December 5th, 2023 is Colorado Gives Day!

Sponsored by First Bank, Colorado Gives Day is the largest 24-hour giving movement in the state of Colorado and unites and empowers Coloradans to give to the organizations that elevate their community.

OFP is also grateful to be included in a $1,000 match from Colorado Gives!

Potential prizes to support OFP and important dates:

  • Nov 1st: Early giving opens.

  • Nov 1st - Dec 5th: $5,000 awarded to returning nonprofit with the biggest year over year growth on CO Gives between Nov 1 and Dec 5.

  • Nov 1st - Dec 5th: Donors who give $100 or more to a single nonprofit can be entered in a chance to win a round-trip airfare from Southwest Airlines up to $400. CO Gives will also choose to award a bonus roundtrip ticket after midnight from donors who give $100 or more to a single non-profit on Dec 5th.

  • Nov 1st - Dec 5th: The Incentive Fund | Every donation is boosted by CO Gives! All non-profits receive a percentage of the fund equal to the percentage they raise for CO Gives. The total fund is more than $1,000,000!

  • Nov 1st - Dec 5th: The first 100 companies to raise $1,000 will receive $1,000 for their work from Delta Dental of Colorado

  • Nov 20th: When you set up a new monthly donation to OFP on Coloradogives.org, CO Gives will match the second donation you make up to $100 and up to $250,000 across all Colorado organizations!

  • Nov 27th - Dec 1st: Facebook Trivia | Enjoy CO Gives on Facebook, hosted by FirstBank. Anyone is eligible to play. When you guess the right answer and name Our Front Porch as the non-profit you are playing for, you enter OFP into a drawing to win $1,000! Questions are posted twice a day and winners will be randomly selected from the correct answers.

  • Nov 28th: CO Gives is giving away six $4,000 prizes to randomly selected small and medium non-profits that receive a donation on Giving Tuesday through the ColoradoGives.org platform! We thank Janus Henderson for the opportunity.

  • Dec 5th: Power Hour Time! Fifteen non-profits can earn an extra $2,000 in donations by having donors donate during ‘power hours’. The power hour for Our Front Porch is 7pm - 8pm!

Your donations will go towards making an impact in all of our service areas.

  • Replacing all your belongings, dealing with insurance adjusters, replacing missing documents, negotiating with landlords, and trying to find new housing can become a full time job you never wanted. Our case workers provide answers, resources, and guidance on next steps.

  • Losing everything you own in a matter of minutes is a traumatic experience. Our social workers provide individual and group therapy, allowing survivors to heal from the emotional pain.

  • You know what it is like to work hard for your home and imagine the feeling of being homeless at no fault of your own? Our short-term, fully furnished, affordable rental is a safe place for home fire survivors to stay while we help them figure out their next steps.
